For over 60 years, I politely tried to force myself into the box labeled “life”… but those days are behind me.

 

Today I’m a slightly free-spirited, over-60 hippie, learning to hear the whispers of my own internal wind chime instead of the constant “shoulds” from the outside world.

 

Whimsel sits at the top of the pine tree asking the questions… and I walk below, doing my best to answer them.

 

Together, we’re exploring what it means to live authentically, to laugh often, and to finally become the person I always was.

 

Once upon a time, they told me I was “too quiet.”

 

So I spent many years trying to turn up my volume… just to find a place within their walls.

 

But today, I’m done.

 

I’m coming back to Kae… the girl I was before the world told me I had to change.

 

And what a surprise it was to learn that being sensitive, thoughtful, and a little different wasn’t something that needed fixing… it was something I could return to.
